About x Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' (4 inch)

The leaves of x Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' are thick shaped like elongated spears, loosely arranged in a rosette formation atop elongating stems. This plant is a succulent hybrid variety resulting from a cross between Graptopetalum and Sedum. It exhibits typical succulent characteristics, including adaptation to drought conditions and relatively easy growth.

How to care for x Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' (4 inch)

Sun/Temperature: x Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' thrives in ample sunlight, ideally in bright conditions. However, during hot summers, excessive exposure to intense sunlight should be avoided to prevent leaf sunburn. It performs best within temperatures ranging from 45°F to 85°F, exhibiting some heat and cold tolerance.

Soil/Watering: Choose well-draining fertile soil, incorporating a small amount of sand or perlite to enhance drainage. x Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' is fairly resistant to drought, therefore, it's advisable to let the soil thoroughly dry out between waterings to avoid the risk of root rot.

Pot: It thrives in moderate depth and size pots with suitable drainage holes. Since its root system is relatively shallow,it does not need a very deep pot. Opt for brightly colored to enhance aesthetic appeal.

Propagation: It is suitable for propagation through leaf cuttings or stem cuttings. Healthy leaves or stem cuttings can be inserted into sandy soil after allowing the wounds to dry, waiting for new roots and leaf buds to emerge.

Fertilization: During the growing season, apply diluted fertilizer once a month. However, be cautious to avoid over-fertilization, which could harm the plant. Choose a fertilizer suitable for succulents and reduce or cease fertilization during winter.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. However, due to numerous factors beyond our control, including customs checks and shipping delays, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And we can not provide the 14-day quality guarantee for orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. We appreciate your understanding.
