Sedum Dendroideum belongs to the Sedum family. Its leaves are waxy green with striking red edges, curved upwards, and grow on tree-like stems, easily forming succulent tree. the overall appearance is like a burning green flame, the shape is light and agile , always attracting people's attention!

How to care for Sedum Dendroideum (Tree Stonecrop) (4 inch)

Sun/Temperature: Sedum Dendroideum prefers warm and dry environment, the optimal growing temperature is between 55~70℉ , summer and winter should pay attention to good temperature control measures to ensure that the maximum summer does not exceed 80℉ , and winter does not fall below 40℉ . Sedum Dendroideum needs to be shielded from high temperature and direct light in summer, and can be placed in a sunny place in the rest of the year.

Ventilation: Sedum Dendroideum needs to be ventilated, especially for seedlings that are not adapted to heat and humidity. Therefore, do not allow water to accumulate on the leaves of the seedlings in summer care, and in the rainy summer season, you can give Sedum Dendroideum seedlings shelter from the rain.

Soil/Pot: You can just choose well-drained soil and pots with drainage holes. You can choose pots that match beautifully as landscape plants, with darker colors to bring out its color more, in addition to stones that can be placed once on top of the soil.

Watering: You need to keep watering moderate to ensure optimal growth and health of your plants. Make sure you allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings to prevent root rot from overwatering.

Fertilizer: Optimal soil conditions are conducive to the growth of Sedum Dendroideum. A nutrient-rich soil promotes branching and enhances the plant's ability to pop heads. When preparing soil for Sedum Dendroideum, consider reducing the amount of pellets and increasing the proportion of peat soil or leafy soil.

Propagation: Divide the mature Sedum Dendroideum plant into smaller sections, ensuring each section has its own roots and stems. Replant the divided sections in separate pots with well-draining soil. Keep the soil lightly moist until new growth appears.

Shipping Speed

In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. However, due to numerous factors beyond our control, including customs checks and shipping delays, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And we can not provide the 14-day quality guarantee for orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. We appreciate your understanding.
