About Pachyphytum' Apricot Beauty'

Pachyphytum' Apricot Beauty' features a rosette shape with oval and plump foliage whose frontal surface is flat, while the dorsal part characterizes the triangle form. Unlike regular-grown succulents, its variegated identification paints the foliage with common green in the center and yellow changing to pink on both sides, which are the mutation parts. In this case, the insufficiency of chlorophylls results in its slow growth. But planted long, a longer stalk may still happen.

How to care for Pachyphytum' Apricot Beauty'

Sun/Temperature: Pachyphytum' Apricot Beauty' desires adequate sunlight and extensive temperature swings to make its variegated appearance more evident. The latter helps develop its transparent beauty state. If not exposed to plentiful sunlight, Pachyphytum' Apricot Beauty' will probably turn green and lose its variegated colors. But never treat the succulent casually in summer, or the sunburn and intense ultraviolet rays can threaten its life. Timely shade is needed. Click here to learn how to care for variegated succulent.

Propagation: The ways to propagate the succulent are common. Both leaf cuttings and stem cuttings are practical. The former method is superior in the growing rate, but the color may fade to green. The latter helps to keep its variegated condition. If you are a beginner in propagating, it is highly recommended to start with Pachyphytum 'Apricot Beauty'.

Soil/Pot: Good drainage benefits the breathtaking activity of Pachyphytum' Apricot Beauty'. Not only draining potholes but also loose soil are necessary. Mix the soil with organic perlite and gritty maifanitum stones, and you'll discover that your succulent grows in a healthy condition and is easy to breed. No extra fertilizers are needed.

Watering: In the growing period, it's suggested to only water live succulents once the soil tends to dry out. After that, full irrigation work should be done if necessary. Use a soil moisture meter to check the humidity. Remember that overcontrol of watering will make the succulent wrinkled while overwatering will cause rotten problems. Thus extreme treatment is inadvisable.

We have many years of experience shipping live succulents and cactus plants. We pay close attention to packing and have developed an expert shipping method. All succulents are packed and protected with polypropylene cotton (this is a stuffing used for dolls). We find this is the most effective material for protecting live plants while in transit. It is important to us that you are able to Keep going and Keep growing without any stress about the quality of the product or packaging.

Shipping Speed

In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. However, due to numerous factors beyond our control, including customs checks and shipping delays, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And we can not provide the 14-day quality guarantee for orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. We appreciate your understanding.

Sorry. No International Shipping for now!!!

Pachyphytum ‘Apricot Beauty’

Very pretty. Not a lot of apricot color but it is healthy and I am sure as it grows with more sunlight, the leaves will have a lot more color.

I Love Pachyphytums

Being almost 65, I have few goals left in life, and one of them is to own one of every Pachyphytum created. This Apricot Beauty is perfect. She was wrapped so carefully. I will be ordering from this seller many more times in the years I have left. Lol.
