The nigger-brown ovate-shaped leaves tipped with acuminate apex form the compact rosette, reaching up to 6 inches in diameter. The pinkish-red flowers appear on the stalk in early summer, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. The unique appearance and low maintenance make it a popular addition to a succulent collection.
